Has anyone put enough miles on their truck before and after installing a leveling kit to know how it affects mpg? I've already bumped up to 275/70/18 and took at least a 1 mpg hit and while I'd like to level it out I don't want to lose another mpg. I know there are all kinds of variable that affect mpg but hoping someone has enough before and after experience with a kit to isolate how only the kit affected their mpg.

I would expect to lose mpg due to the change in aerodynamics with a level.
Its seems like you would but I've read on other forums where that wasn't the case so I don't know what to believe. I know that tire size/weight matter more but hopefully someone has leveled theirs on stock tires and had that setup long enough to note what the mpg difference is.

I have a 2" level, 295/60/20 Ridge Grapplers with +20 20x9 aftermarket wheels with the 3.73 rear on the Powerboost. Lost around 2 mpg give or take. Oddly enough, when I use a GPS to clock my speedometer it remained pretty accurate.
