How are you turning off the climate control? I can only see where you could turn it down to reduce how much power it is using but not be able to fully turn it off.
I also noticed that the power down timer setting was removed.
I was thinking that was probably the case. I did verify there were no updates to FordPass App after receiving notification of the software update to the truck. Hopefully that update comes out shortly. I was expecting to see the Phone As A Key update, but it was not in this update.
This morning I received a message that Ford Power-Up 3.5.3 had been updated in my Lightning Lariat. In the description of updates, it is indicated that Remote Pro Power Onboard Control has been added that allows you to turn the Pro Power Onboard outlet on and off using the FordPass App.

Exactly on point. Charging port location will absolutely require having to drop a trailer to charge, thus negating the benefits of greater range and faster charging rate than the Lightning..
I think the charge port location is going to be a challenge on the Silverado and Sierra. DC fast charge stations have pretty short cables and I have found them to be a challenge for plugging into the Lightning with its location. Silverado and Sierras would have to be backed into most stations...
I am not sure how accurate your figure of 22% more efficient really is between the two vehicles, but many are expecting the battery pack to be larger in both the Silverado and Sierra EVs. Studies have shown overall EV drivetrains are pretty efficient in that they provide 85-90% of the energy...
I read in one of the reviews of the reveal that GM had reached out to previous Denali owners to allow them to make a reservation up to two days ahead of it opening to the general public at 5:00 pm EST 10/20.
I agree with your assessment that some kind of macro buttons on the main screen would allow you to go to user chosen items immediately. Right now what I would desire most is being able to turn on the cameras on the display with touching only one button instead of a sequence of 2-3.
There are large gaps on I-75 in Michigan going all the way down to Cincinnati, Ohio. No high speed DC chargers(100kW or more) on I-69 from the Michigan/Canada border all the way to Indianapolis, Indiana.
They cannot get their desired $10-25k ADM on the mannequin vehicle unless they keep the mileage to an absolute minimum. I bet they don't let hardly anyone drive it and the bs on it being a service loaner vehicle is exactly that.
ChargePoint's site indicates "Power Reduced" and $3.00 for each 0.25 hours of charging at 125 kW. I tend to believe this is the correct rate with it being a ChargePoint charger.
PlugShare has no indication of not being operational and indicates the below for $$ that does not match up with...
You would think that for the chargers you encountered billing at $9.49 per 0.25 hours for 125kW they could have them operational, especially on a holiday weekend. The Chargepoint chargers in Clare run $3.00 per 0.25 hours, so the owners of the Casino must be looking to make a killing off of...
There was someone on one of the FB groups with a 5/10 blend date that posted he received an email indicating arrival at the dealership between 6/3 and 6/9. There was no indication of how far he was located from the Detroit area. My blend date in 5/13 and I live 25 miles North of Dearborn, so I...
30A on the 240V outlet in the bed of the truck is more than capable of powering a Kenwood TL-922A linear along with a rig to feed it :) The F-150 Lightning would make a great power source for Field Day.
I am thinking that for items 3&5 it will be necessary to obtain a third party mobile charger that has a selectable maximum current draw, especially if you think you may be charging another EV that also does not have a selection to limit the current from the EVSE. It would have been nice if that...
