How or where from is this information being pulled? My blend date is 5/13, so would like to check on the modules coming online for confirmation after then.
Per posted information on the Ford Mobile charger, it charges at a rate of 32 Amps and many have stated that it is in reality limited down to 30 Amps. I do question more of the details behind it being used from the Lightning 240V outlet to charge another EV and if the output current needs to be...
The flat delivery fee across all dealers came about through legal action or passing of a law of some sort. I don't recall the history, but all car manufacturers are required to charge a flat fee nationwide to dealerships independent up how close or far away you are from the manufacturing plant...
I was able to use this address to finally pull my window sticker. Mine shows the increase in Destination & Deilvery to $1795 to haul the truck 30 miles North. I am sure that 2/3 of the fee goes to subsidize the deliveries to California. Blend date is set for 5/13 and it is an Atlas Blue...
This only comes back with a screen that highlights "Ordering with Dealer". Using the https://www.ford.com/buy/manage.html?reservationId=xxxxxxxx link does allow me to see the build date.
The link above does work for checking my order having ordered through the dealer. It still indicates the week of 5/9 :) Hopefully I can see the window sticker late tonight.
How are you finding this screen that indicates your build week? I only have an email from 3/29 indicating my order is to be built the week of 5/9, but cannot see a screen like this when I log into Ford.com and look at my reservation. My order was placed through the dealer as that is the way...
Another possibility is this may be the time that Ford builds the 700 Sunbelt Rental trucks that there was an announcement about a few days ago that stated they would be built this summer. I expect they will all be painted the same green color, so would make sense to run all as one batch through...
I would do the same thing if I was in your position of getting an order placed having been provided an invite. My issue is more with Ford not making the process more fair and equitable as anyone of the tens of thousands that reserved in the first day find out someone that reserved in October...
I fully agree with your position. Why should someone that made a reservation in October be able to get an order placed when there are still thousands that made a reservation on 5/19 in the first hour that cannot due to the dealership they chose. I am very fortunate that I have been able to...
Plugshare shows a DCFC going in just West of the I-475/I-75 intersection on the South side of Toledo, but does not indicate how many connections are going in. This would help greatly in the lack of chargers on I-75 from Detroit to Dayton.
I would agree this section is as bad or worse. The US-23 TO US24 to I-469 to I-69 route to is just as bad. I am surprised that no DC fast chargers have popped up yet in Fort Wayne also (I-69 or I-469 side). I travel once every 2-3 months from the Detroit area to my parents that are 40 miles...
On your Michigan to Florida trip (I am assuming a trip straight down I-75), where did you charge between Detroit and Cincinnati/Lexington area? That seems to be the section that has the largest hole with respect to DC fast chargers. I expect to make a couple trips a year from NorthWest Detroit...
Duke Energy did a similar thing with adding a box between your AC compressor and its external disconnect that could have the power shut down via wireless control. During times where electricity needed to be conserved, your AC unit inside would just have the fan running and circulating air while...
Considering we got around 1/2" of snow yesterday 15-20 miles North of Dearborn the same day of the tweet, it is still cold in Michigan. My Chevy Volt has shown around a 20-25% degradation in range for the last week or so at these temps, so my expectation is that it is an ER version of the truck.
