These high $ settlements go right to the government and lawyers running the circus. The end result is higher cost to the consumer.
For essentials, sure ding the gouger. For a shiny, brand new car that is in short supply when there are other options? No way.
Bedrug mat does not keep the stuff from sliding around, I have one. I use the telescoping pole, raised up maybe a 1/2" off the bedrug. This is just high enough to keep the groceries near the tailgate and I can slide long items right over the top of it w/o issue.

Plus, I carry a torque wrench that goes up to 250 ft/lbs and the gorilla lug nut telescoping breaker bar. Never know when that doggone electronic thingy will let you down...
I still need to find a better jack for the truck. IMHO, the OEM unit is dangerous...
Write a checklist. Follow it just like a pilot would before takeoff. The stairs on my camper would still be straight and not pretzeled if a list was used before that departure.
Finally got my TT hooked up to my 21 PB. Went down the road to a parking lot to test the trailer brakes and see if the connection was intermittent. Glad to report no disconnects. With the brake controller gain set to 6 there was excellent stopping power. I'll run it around 4-4.5 and adjust...
Dear Older than Dirt,
Mine is off after 1 un-initiated braking event. No thanks.
Learning to use the camera more and more but now I'm forgetting to check the mirrors too. WTH!!!! Help me Obi-Wan!
Make that side of the tailgate attach to the bottom of the slide out kitchen. Unhook standard cable, deploy kitchen, attach. Perhaps a short clip or short cable would do the trick.
All y'all are correct, no 36 gallon tank. Looked it up, it is a 30.6 gallon tank. No big sweat... If/when I need extra fuel, all of my spare tanks will be full and strapped down in the bed.
Thank you for the good info!!
Does look nice and I now have a set in my garage. Will be installed when I get around to project number 1,723. :D
FWIW, I also have the leveling kit which will require bigger tires and that could be installed after the Pirelli's wear out. Project number 2,228.
