Not sure if this is the same thing, but when I purchased the extend warranty from Granger in Aug ‘22 it was booked as AC Repair in my service history. I have never had an issue with the AC.
I have had my truck since Aug ‘22. When I charged to 100% the range was 310 or higher.
I unfortunately have had two bad battery modules. The first time I got the “powertrain error”, the second time I was experiencing exactly what you’re describing.
At 100% I would max out at a range of 270...
I have nothing more to go on than one sentence in the service report.
I have had lots of issues recieving updates. I asked the service manager to confirm I was current on all updates. They responded that an issue had been be discovered and repaired.
It is possible the wrong TSB number was entered.
No, but oddly after the module was replaced the BCEM threw code u019b which led to TSB 25-2065. Hopefully this explains why I have not gotten updates since September ‘24.
Only have had it back for few hours. I am going to drive it a few days and then put it on the charger. I asked when I picked it up if I needed to do anything to balance the battery. I was told no.
I’ve had the truck since Aug ‘22. 100% charge has always shown 310 miles, in the winter if it gets cold it might top out at 290. The truck has 30K miles and the driving history has been reset many times by me and several times by the dealer. In addition I have done several compete reset and...
Got the truck back after several weeks.
To recap:
November ‘24 - powertrain malfunction - module 3 replaced.
After replacement 100% charge would only show 280 miles on an ER battery. After a few miles the battery would drop to 80%. No service w
March ‘25 - Finally take truck in. Service...
Will do. I will share the previous one as well. Honestly I am not sure the tech knows what they are talking about. Also no ETA was given or whether approval from Ford was needed.
Truck is a ‘22 Lariat ER with 30k miles.
In October I received the Powertrain Malfunction. Two modules were replaced. After the replacement the truck experienced serious range degradation. Several people on this forum suggested that the tech did not balance the battery. The issue was not huge a deal because I was not going long...
Did not mention anything. I think we are in the same general area. My long trips are from NJ to the Berkshires. As you stated we have had colder than normal temps recently. But my service was on 10/17 and until recently the temps were about the same as the last two years.
I think I am...
I had two modules replaced on a ‘22 Lariat ER after a powertrain malfunction. Took almost three weeks. Since the replacement I have experienced significant drops in battery charge with little driving. At 100% charge I am never getting above 285 Miles. I have reset th driving history and there...
I had the same experience. Have had the truck back for almost two weeks and have had no issue. Have charge the battery to 70% and 90% several times since being returned.
Just got mine back. 2022 with 28k miles. Took two weeks. The biggest delay was the mechanic could not get the battery to take a charge after the new cell was added. I believe he called Ford for assistance.
I have a 2022. I experienced this after an update. It took several updates until it was fixed. If you search the forum there should be conversations about this issue from August 2022.
I cannot recall which update caused the issue.
Yes, and I have also had Ford Navigation on and Waze on my phone (not connected to Car play) and Ford’s navigation provides the most convoluted route from my house to the highway.
Additionally I found the location of chargers when they are at large malls is never accurate. But this is true...
Since I was updated to 6.3 Ford Assistant and Alexa have been completely removed. In the Connectivity Vehicle Features menu Ford Assistant is still an option, but the Ford Assistant in the Settings Menu is gone.
Also Alexa is gone in the setting menu and the application is complete missing.
