I've seen at least 2 people who ordered in the last week and a half and got their VINs yesterday....

This is such crap. I ordered 10/29, and still waiting. I have seen trucks go to dealers with almost everything I ordered, and if I look at a couple of trucks new to dealers everything I ordered. I have been moved from a priority 19 to a 10, to a 2, and still nothing. The only good point is that if I ordered today the truck would be 7k more, Ford has raised the price 5k, and my dealer gave 2k off for custom orders back then, but no more.

I'm sitting in appx the same position (ordered 9/28, converted to 22 on 12/18). Talking to a few people on reddit and seeing what is getting to dealers, my conclusion right now is that its the 6.5ft bed thats holding me up. I've been able to isolate everything else it seems.

Are they even building Platinum's?

It might be a bit easer to wait if Ford has some communication with their customers.

Not sure how much it will help, there are still guys on the Tremor forums who ordered in December who don't have VINs yet. A bunch of December orders finally got them a few days ago. Also factor in the price increases that have happened since you ordered.

Last week I found 2x Platinum 2021 Powerboosts sitting on a Chevy dealers lot. They just lowered the price on them. I told them to fire their internet sales manager because i'de been scouring FB and CL looking for powerboosts and was finding NOTHING locally. If you're tired of waiting i can point you in the right direction.

How about fulfilling all F-150 orders and then working on Kightning.

I'm sure a lot of those Lightning reservations are older than most ICE F150 orders. My Lightning reservation is from June 2021, my F150 ICE is from December 2021. I'll probably still get the ICE F150 before I get the EV F150.

I understand your point. However, all the features being removed from all combustion/hybrid vehicles are not being removed from Lightning models which means prioritization of these vehicles from what I’m aware of. I’m sure scheduled Lightning models will not have as many delays if any.

It’s clear Ford cannot handle their production lines since to get something right, something else suffers.
