Blend 8/3, built 8/16 - awaiting shipment, estimated delivery 9/7-9/13

I just checked again as we have the same built date and live close to each other. It was showing estimated delivery 8/25-8/31 but now is showing 9/4-9/10

The order tracking site was kicking back to the VIN and order # entry screen earlier, but after it refreshed: still no built date. Platinum, blend date 8/3. There’s a tiny part of me that dares to hope that maybe they found a Max Recline or at least an Active Motion seat to complete my order. Still refreshing multiple times a day . . .

Do you or anyone else have any more info on this, so called, directive?

I'm in a similar boat and stopped by my dealer today. They refused to offer any kind of binding agreement until the truck is delivered AND goes through PDI. The manager stated he has received so such communication through Ford regarding this. Thanks!

I spoke with my dealer and they said "Once the truck is in California, they would write out a PO" and get everything in black and white. I suppose there is something Ford is requiring but whatever. I just want something with a number that we agree on before I arrive on the day of purchase... No surprises.

Looks like I can expect to get it by mid September. My blend date is 8/6 and production date is 8/7.

Check this morning! Mine finally went to Built. Blend and in-production dates 8/3 for me, Built 8/17. (although it didn't show built on the order page until 8/18.)

Got my email from Ford this morning (no photo) saying that my truck was built and the estimated ship dates.

Also I noticed that the Ordertrack.app shows "in transit" while the Ford site shows Built and still "In production". Interesting

Platinum no spray-in, and the coveted “multicountour” seat delete. I’ll be happy with the truck, but it will always have an asterisk next to “happy.”
