2021 F150 - splice power from rear view mirror for radar detector?

Works great if your device uses usb.

Can you still use the mirror tap for a radar detector too??

I used my mirror taps with no issue. Removed from my 2018 F150 and dropped right into the 2021 F150. Was the same wire locations on the mirror. Bottom Left (driver side), +12, and I believe pin 4 is ground on the bottom row. On my connector, there are only two wires on the bottom of the connector and those are +12/GND.

If you're asking if you could use this for both at the same time, I doubt it.
It's only recommended for devices requiring less than 2A, which I think you might exceed using a dash cam and a radar detector at the same time.

Was super easy but I did use volt meter to check which color port to tap.
