I did find info to get a better estimate on curb weight in the eSource book that I can calculate based on my build, with the GVWR, that gets me a closer estimate on payload. The dealer payload+curb > GVWR so it can't be right.

Another thing I have found based on my meticulous reading is that the towing capacities for conventional towing require a weight distribution hitch. This is barely mentioned, but the capacity for a weight carrying hitch on these trucks is much lower (5000 lbs is all I've seen, even with Max tow). That is written down from ford in the RV& trailer towing guide on page 45.

Thank you for posting this - the 4800 lbs Rear axle capacity may help answer a lot a speculation on the rear axle used in PowerBoost equipped F-150s in numerous other threads, looks like the Rear GAWR spec below may really reflect capacity instead (otherwise where does your 4150 lbs Rear GAWR fit?):

Some of what is in that document is definitely not correct, so I don't know that I would rely on any of it.

It would be great if it came with that axle though... Thats the 3/4 floating one I believe

Also there table you posted lists gawr, not capacity, so it's the 4150 that's relevant unfortunately
