Add footwell lighting?

My wife had a ford escape a while back with footwell lighting and even cup holder lighting with a button to change the color. Ford spent money on an app that turns on side view mirror lights but has nothing on interior? I believe higher trim levels include some lighting but my XLT does not. Anyone add interior lighting? I can wire switches and led strips but some of y'all are ambitious so i wanted to check here first.

Ford had a dedicated kit at one point in time.

I gave up looking. Bought generic kit on amazon, now i need to figure out which fuse to use. I miss paper owner manuals
