I just picked up my Lightning last evening and was looking at this very same cap! However, it looks like they state it doesn't fit the Lightning models - can someone shed some light (proud of that) on the cap fitting for me?

I'm not opposed to finding an older cap if it fits, either.

The beds are supposed to be identical to ICE F-150's so that accessories work for both without issue. I am guessing it might be a wiring issue or rough country just hasn't tested it on a lightning and don't want to take the risk of promising it will work and have people return it. I am highly tempted to take the risk and get it. I have been shopping for a bed cap and this looks like a clone of the smart cap for almost half the price.

OK if one has a short bed truck. With my 6.5 ft bed I went with the Snugtop fiberglass shell that is color matched to my truck.

Looks pretty good although a bit of a copy of the SmartCap EVO. Specs are very similar except that the gull wing side doors are stainless steel rather than glass, and this cap blocks the bed cam, whereas the SmartCap does not. But for $2k cheaper, I think it looks great. I love the exterior molle panels for attachments- overall a good compromise between price and features.

My SmartCap experience hasn't been perfect, but QC on this thing's third brake light doesn't exactly inspire confidence either... I guess it's good to have options.

TBF, shipping and handling will eat up a lot of the difference. Shipping something this large and heavy from China isn't cheap, plus customs/tariffs... just pointing out that they aren't as cheap as those prices *at all*.
