Changing the angle is definitely key. If you just slide them in they'll never go up. Slide them up until they stop/get stuck, rotate them (so push down on the front of the cleat and try to lift the back of the cleat), then slide them up.They were in a package in my frunk, Lariat delivered 3 weeks ago
that said, I tried but gave up attempting to insert the cleats themselves into the bedside mounts - I don’t even have a spray in liner, tried a rubber mallet, and got too hot mid-day to keep f’ing with it
I’ll try the angled suggestion above, but welcome any other tips or tricks to fitment with these SOBs
