So he swings by with his XLT ER w/PPOB & Max Tow. Has scales, no bed liner. He’ll put a 3-section tonneau on it. Very nice & great color! Turns out there are 5 LTs in our little county (pop 23,000). His initial comments are on smoothness of ride, quiet, power, ease of use. Currently charging on 120V until he gets his 240V charger outlet wired in. The profile of the five owners is interesting: Lumberyard owner, city administrator, port manager, contractor, transportation manager. All are daily drivers.

Excellent!

Be sure to have him look for a local owners group in his area if there is one (or start his own if there is not!):

Hipe he has as much success with his truck as I have had with mine!

That’s a great thought. There’s much to be learned by swapping stories. The 5 local owners are techno geek driven. For example, the longest LT owner has a couple of power walls fed by a solar array and he’s nearly off the grid. The most recent purchaser is of the same ilk and will likely go the minimalist charging route as his daily mileage average is low enough he is considering a few thousand watts a day might fit the bill. Now they have the $ to try things out. From my book, a few thousand $$ is going to power me 30,000+ miles so the payback is really low.
