Can’t change dealers

Update….another CS rep said that because I deferred in 2022 (because there were no pro or XLT models available) that was a change to my reservation and now I can not change dealers. This is a direct contradiction to the private offer email I received last week where it says to call them to change dealers. They even suggested that I place the order and see if the dealer will be willing to transfer it. Very bad info being given out by ford CS. Has anyone out there dealt with this?

This is mildly terrifying.

I’m a deferred reservation due to order next week in wave 2. I’m stuck at a dealer that changed owners and was bought by one known to charge large deposits, adm, and play games.

I was planning on moving my reservation to another dealer this week just in case. Now I’m afraid to if the deferral is tied to the dealer you were at before the waves started for 23. I don’t want to screw my chance to order next week but also don’t want to gamble ordering with this dealer.
