Update: I received a call last week from Ford corporate asking if I’m ok with my truck sending data for “Connected Data” to ford for Sync. Sounds like they are aware of the issue and are listening which is good.
Hopefully we get an update pushed soon.

Hi guys! This is my first post. My truck is experiencing the exact same issue. I picked it up brand new last Friday. 2023 lariat. Did anyone ever get this problem fixed? Mine drops out in a consistent location. There is a school, fire department, and cell tower all within a 200 yard radius. No idea why this is happening.

My experience was that my Carplay would drop in exactly the same spot every time I drove there. As soon as I passed through that very small area (maybe 1000 feet) things would almost always reconnect without issue.

Then one day, I noticed I drove through the same area and it didn't drop and has never dropped in that spot again. I don't drive that way every day and I don't know if I noticed it the first time I didn't have a problem. I did get a flurry of updates around the same time *I think*, but I could be wrong.

I have noticed a couple different spots where Carplay does get a little sketchy but doesn't fully disconnect. And those are consistent locations, but it doesn't happen every time.

So... fixed? I don't know that I would call it fixed, but better for me.

Sorry for the largely unhelpful answer.
