Their estimate was 20+ weeks. The only thing they were estimating is it wouldn't take less than 20 weeks. Wisely, nothing was promised by Ford.
Who said anything about promises? My point is after Thursday they are not "over-delivering" on their estimate. It had looked like they were going to with vehicles getting built. Now they sit outside.

Your experience had me checking my Ford Order page….fortunately, the shipping and other items were unchanged. Hope you get good news!
A bit of finger pointing, but dealer solved it for me, per their response here "Ford makes changes that sometimes reflect on the invoice and window sticker of vehicles. We will honor the pricing on the order you placed regardless of the increases or changes to the invoice or window sticker, but we are not able to change those documents and do not have control over that aspect. We only have control over what we sell the vehicle for and we will honor the original pricing at time of order."

:)

Bumping here as my dealership is dicking me around. I'm in the same situation, except they added $5k markup. They say they can't do anything about MSRP listing. They also won't let me see or read the purchase agreement, which the say breaks down pricing better, without signing an "agreement to purchase" which is very vague with a few numbers.

Thoughts?

Well if you are getting it this year MSRP does not matter (rules posted by IRS today). I would not sign any agreement to purchase without all the details. The agreement to purchase should have those, otherwise you could get screwed. I am sure Washington's Consumer Protection Act (CPA) prevents this behavior, and if they pull it, be prepared to point this out. Your price should be what is on your order, including the dealers markup.

And of course your states tax and lic fees, and a resonable doc fee ($100?) from your dealer.

IRS says,
"Vehicles Purchased and Delivered between August 16, 2022 and December 31, 2022
If you purchase and take possession of a qualifying electric vehicle after August 16, 2022 and before January 1, 2023, aside from the final assembly requirement, the rules in effect before the enactment of the Inflation Reduction Act for the EV credit apply (including those involving the manufacturing caps on vehicles sold). If you entered into a written binding contract to purchase a new qualifying vehicle before August 16, 2022, see the rule above."

Clear as mud. I can't tell what they mean by "the rules in effect before". Does that mean pricing? kWh? Tax credit generally?

The only new rules applied for 2022 delivery are USA content rules, which F150 (Ford F Series in chart) meets. That is my reading of it. Thread: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...ive-vehicle-credit-irc-30d.11774/#post-246758
