Disable Alexa to Remove Icon in Top Menu Bar?

I didn't set up Alexa, and have no interest in doing so. CarPlay and Siri are fine.

Is there a way to remove the blue Alexa circle from the UI of the screen? It's always there, with as much omnipresence as my avatar / driver icon. Just a tad annoying...

Do you know does Alexa do all the voice commands or are some commands handled by the Sync system?

You can now remove the icon. Touch the Alexa icon as if you are going to set it up. Then press dismiss icon
