You can just buy the magnet and stick it to the wireless charging pad.

Easier, cheaper and the ford built in pad has fan to cool your phone as well

Basically this stuff: https://a.co/d/ghqwUzx

I’m sure it’ll work with whatever your preferred adhesive is, but the body panel tape works at both freezing and hot temperatures. Also can usually be removed after several years without too much of a mess In my experience.
Thanks for this idea. I mounted mine a week or so ago on the other side, and it’s working great.

I moved my traditional USB-C cable to the center console in case my front passenger needs to charge or she hijacks my MagSafe charger and I need to charge.

As many have noted on the forum, the Ford wireless phone charger is not good. I refer to mine as the ’phone heater’. So, not wanting to give up on wireless charging I installed a MagSafe puck (i think these are iPhone only so YMMV). I also did not want to install it somewhere on the dash or center console and have a wire running around. It’s worked out to be very slick and is far superior to the built-in charger in terms of heat to charging ratio. Anyway, figured I’d share for anyone who has similar complaints and desires.

Ingredients:
  1. MagSafe charging puck
  2. Double sided tape (I used 3M double sided body panel tape which is seriously incredible stuff)
Result (the dust level and dead fly are somewhat embarrassing, but such is life):

The MagSafe puck is arranged so that the drawer cover still closes without issue. Hopefully this is useful to someone!
Why not just alien tape it to the charger area?

My PRO did not come with a 'wireless' charging, but, that's o.k., as I'd rather not have my phone laying down in a hole taking up space for other 'necessities', like candy... : )

I simply use an off-the-shelf stand-up USB_C Wireless Charger and used 3m mounting tape underneath it's base to mount right behind the gear shifter, middle area... works great, I can SEE my phone, and it's usable, too, without having to necessarily remove it to use it...
