This one is well worth listening to. It answers a number of important questions and corrects some things the initial reviewers interviews got wrong:
  • Yes, Ford will issue full specs
  • The higher-end Lightnings will come with both the Ford Mobile Charger and the 80A Ford Charge Station Pro
  • Charging rate above 150kW hinted

Also, was that a typo or a sly comment with Darren's name? A message to Tesla perhaps? I Darrem to sell more/better electric trucks than Ford? ?

I watched it on my 65 inch. I hung in there through repeated commercials every few minutes. Darren conveyed confidence that the Ford engineering team has hit it out of the park.

His strategy on the marketing side takes me back to LEVINE and the horrible Bronco roll out. If they dribble out specs and details over the next few months as Darren indicated, it will be a failure. Ford does not seem to understand that withholding information for excitement backfires and comes across as a lack of planning on their part. If Ford is listening, dump the full product specs and features immediately. We are not stupid - we can handle a firehose of data.
