The Lightning team certainly did a fantastic job getting this truck launched in a year. I suppose not having to do a clean sheet design helped and building on the knowledge of the Hybrid F150 helped too. Despite the Lightning being build on the existing F150, I get a feeling they built it from the ground up for some reason.
