They instantly have the Maverick up on build & price tool, but still don't have the Tremor or Raptor, which were announced last year and are scheduled for summer release. Sheesh what a slap in the face.

Nice small truck! I need my f150 pb to tow but this would be perfect for my son when he graduates engineering school.

Any info on how the hybrid functions? Is it just like the Powerboost on the F150?

Toyota is going to have nothing left in the truck market

Towing capacity wouldn’t be what I want but I could live with that for the price. I wish it were available with a smaller cab for a longer bed as I move stuff more than I move people.

Otherwise I like it... had this been an available option and on test drive it felt good I might have gone with it. Not canceling my Lariat order for it though as I know how great the F150 drives and doesn’t leave me wanting for anything.

Back when I first started looking into trucks I thought Tundra would be a good buy.

Then I saw the awful crash test performance. And the interiors are so outdated at this point.

Ford just has better overall products in my mind at this point. This thing potentially makes the Tacoma irrelevant other than general appearance.

I love almost everything about it... but that grill man, that grill will get me a few weeks to love, it looks like it’s a reincarnation of the flex.

2WD - Only - huh...
It’s ‘built for the city’. I think they say city 20 times in the launch video. There is a reason why the launch video features actors under 30. Ford doesn’t expect folks on this thread (no slight on younger F150 buyers) to order the Maverick. It’s compact, fuel efficient, tech laden (Including wireless charging you can’t get on most F150 trims), and only slightly capable. Perfect for youngsters!

Compared to what though? The 2.0L EcoBoost can tow up to 4,000 pounds, that's pretty good for something shorter than as a 90's Ranger. With the price point of a compact car, 4K is MORE than enough of the target demographic of this truck. This is for people who want a truck but don't need a truck.
