Still not working for me after 30 minutes inactivity. I have a case # with Ford and an appointment on Nov 8th to have it checked out at the dealer. Ford customer service is going to have an engineer contact the dealer once it’s onsite. 🤞

Hey y'all I've started to have the Ford Pass issue with my Aug build Lightning. It started without the ability to update my SoC or location. I tried to remove the vehicle and add it back (without any resets), but when I added the VIN back I wasn't able to active the truck again.

I chatted with Ford Pass tech support and they ran me through a few troubleshooting techniques that didn't resolve my issue. They ended up directing me to my dealer and to reference this code: (SSM 50567). Just FYI alot of their troubleshooting was centered around reaching a section that was blank on my sync (Setting>Connectivity>Connected vehicle features). That code talks about various connected car features not functioning on 2021-22 F-150's.

Now, I suspected the modem was a component of my problem as the issues coincided with my home internet failing (completely different note lol). Anyways, I say all that because when my wife finally got the truck home and our home wifi was functioning properly again, I asked her to ensure the truck's sync was connected to the home wifi and then we'd try to re-activate it AND sure enough it activated right up, and provided updates to SoC, connection status, mileage all the ford pass things. Interestingly enough my son said they were still able to connect to the hotspot but I didn't do enough testing to confirm that (have him turn off his cellular while connected to the hotspot to confirm he's getting his internet from the vehicles hotspot). Additionally, I don't know the relationship between those two (connected features and in car wifi)

We're going to take it in soon enough to see if they can address that code above and fix it; I'll provide an update once that's done.

So I picked my truck up last Friday after they worked on it. They looked at the remote start and the active air dam system fault. The good news is that the remote start is working now even though they could not find anything wrong with the system. But while working on the air dam problem they said they had to reset the pcm, which I'm sure made the difference. The air dam problem popped again over the wekend (a few times) so that is still not fixed and will have to go back to the dealer.

Worth noting I did spend some time on the phone with Ford Pass app support and they mentioned doing a key cycle process to see if that helped. I did not end up needing to do this but I guess it's good to have another option.
