I finally stopped being scared and successfully programmed my first Forscan mods. Thank you for the information in this forum.

Special thanks to bmwhitetx's F150 Lightning FORScan thread - Version 2 and it's link to Livnitup's tutorial, I was able to connect to Forscan using my OBDLink MX+.

I backed up all my original modules.

I started with what I thought were the two easiest mods:

1. Disable Seat Belt chime on vehicle startup; and
2. Remove "Full view not available" message on reverse camera.

Both successful. When I Removed the "Full view not available" message, the message immediately went away when I wrote the APIM, but I went ahead and did the APIM reset with the Forscan wrench icon, since I couldn't tell if the camera switching was a bit laggy and a reset was needed for that reason.

Also, I'm trying to do best practices when operating Forscan in Key on, Engine off mode because that's what Livnitup said to do. I don't know how much it matters with our Lightnings.

But, when a post or Forscan says to turn the truck off and then on again, does it mean to turn it off and return to Key on, Engine off mode, or to turn it off and go to Key on, Engine on mode? Maybe it doesn't matter, and I was just being paranoid, but when it's my first time, these are the things I worry about.

Because of the way my truck is in the garage, I often do all my programming from the passenger seat. So I can't do Engine On since I can't reach the brake pedal.

So starting in Accessory mode (Key on, Engine Off) has always worked for me. I do turn off radio and A/C since they are distracting.

But I agree it probably doesn't matter on a BEV.
