I decided to poke around the data Ford sends back on their reservation page while I anxiously await arrival of my Lightning (being stuck in bed with a cold might have played a hand in this as well), and I stumbled across an interesting field titled "vehicleStatusCode". Mine has a value of "VDOS". Seems like the bronco crew found out about this field as well and started a discussion on it: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/decoding-the-vehicle-status-code.32805/ Unfortunately for me, nobody mentioned the same code I had.
It's possible this is nothing, or the code is no longer in use. But I'm wondering if it's a more granular way to track a truck's progress through the different displayed statuses. I'm doubly curious because temporarily on Ford's order status tracker page my truck was in "Built" status and then switched back to "In Production" -- it even still has the "Built" status logo on that page to this day.
Anyway, best I could come up with for a "VDOS" code:
Vehicle Delayed on Shipment (because I'm pessimistic about me getting this before the $7500 tax credit is unavailable ).
