Has anyone installed the Putco Rear tailgate lighted emblem on a Pro/XLT?

I've been thinking about adding this in place of the rear emblem on my Pro (would only work on a Pro/XLT)

but had a few questions:

1. If I hooked it up to the DRL's, would it be a lot brighter than my tailights? which would look wierd
2. If I hooked them up to my brake lights, would they do the startup sequence each time i hit the brakes? that would also be weird. I dont think this model has the green wire, that the front emblem has, to disable the startup sequence.

So chatting with a Putco specialist, they confirmed that there is no green wire and that if you hooked it up to your brakes, it would attempt the startup sequence each time you hit your brakes, def not ideal. Not sure I really want it anymore.

Funny I just see this. I just returned this emblem. One night, late, I ordered a front emblem for my Lariat. Do, why not the rear, too. What an idiot. I totally forgot the Lariat trim doesn’t have one. Stupid brain fart at 1:30am.
