How does the private offer work?

I had an XLT on order that will be switched to a ‘23. Can I convert my trim to a lariat and get lariet $ difference or would it be my xlt difference even if I ordered a lariet?

Since you don't have a VIN, it's easy to change trims thru your dealer.

But the big question I have is will Ford offer a private rebate for the new trim you are ordering vs the old trim ?

I spoke to a Ford Customer Relations agent and she said that the Ford likely will give a private offer to match the new trim.

But it's not confirmed.

On the MME forum we don't know either as order banks opened up this week.

I am in a similar situation - my wife's MME has been moved to 2023.
With the loss of an option for 2023, to regain it we would have to go up 1 trim level.

Since the order is fully refundable up to the point of delivery, I guess I'll roll the dice....
