So it seems most people are leveling their trucks when asking about tire sizes and my wife doesnt want a level or so she thinks. (im pretty sure down the road we will do the fox coil over adjustable heights as she usually goes with my suggestion after she finds she wasnt happy with her way just like her 4runner that we are trading in) Till then we do know she wants Fuel vector D579 20" wheels and we will be doing NITTO ridge grapplers as they were great on her 4runner. Now they come two different offsets. What is the largest size tire that can go on each. Probably staying 275 wide max.

+1 offset (what we are leaning towards). Im thinking 275/60R20 E 123/120Q (33.23" x 10.98") might be the max with no level ? or would we have to drop to a 265/60R20 E 121/118Q (32.76"x10.71"). Hers is an xlt 4x4 with the 18" package 275/65R18 (32x11) and i notice the stock 20's come with 275/60R20 but thats a +44 offset.

+20 offset, not super interested in but will go this route if needed.

So what do you guys think ?

I am running the Terra Grappler in 275/65r20 on the stock (+44) offset with no rubbing lift/no etc. It does get close to the plastic air dam but plenty of clearance elsewhere - as the offset decreases though I suspect it will start to interfere with the air dam and possibly the crash bar (I'm looking at a +12 wheel, so curious what others have to say)

not sure how i never saw this thread earlier when i searched but the video linked in this thread seems to be pretty good. Looks as tho a 33x12.5 tire with a 0 offset on 18x9 wheel fits no level. Trying to use tiresize.com offset calculator, i believe the 275/60R20 on a 20x9 +1 offset actually will work as it should stick out a little less with the skinnier tire and have more clearance on the inside too. looks like even 285/60R20 will still have more clearance that the 33x12.5 on 18" wheel in the video so i think i just found my tire setup for her new rig. Unless somebody here notices something i never took into account.

Hers is set to be built this coming week (april 26) so might see it in the next month or two? Not sure how long it takes to land on the lot up here in Canada (canadians cant use fords link to see current status of builds) but once i get it and get the new wheels and tires on ill update and take a picture on the setup.

Have you looked at the Custom Offsets gallery? There are several 2021's with +12 to -18 with 33" tires of various widths - most have a 2" level, but also appear to have plenty of clearance

On a stock rim I test fit 33 x 12.5 x 18. No level. No rub.

thanks, do you think by pushing the wheel out a couple inches that there would be any rubbing on the outside of the tire to any bumper or wheel liner area ?

Are your rubbers the LT or SL? just curious if you even noticed an MPG change if they were the SL since they only weigh 2.5lbs more than the stock rubbers.

I have the LT (actually scheduled the SL, but once the dealer had them installed it was discovered they installed LT - after reducing the price 11% below the SL price we all were happy) - I am averaging about 21mpg and previously it was about 21.8 on the computer calculated readout (still on 1st tank so don't have hand calcs for the new tires) - minimal performance decrease noticed - mostly felt with strong side winds.

I’m glad to hear that the tire shop took care of you! All trucks with bigger rubbers will have that slightly noticeable roll to them. But you won’t even notice it in 1k miles. Thanks for the information!
