I've just added a Lightning-specific HCM spreadsheet here: https://bit.ly/3waQ0tS

It came to my attention that some people were using values from the non-Lightning HCM spreadsheet for the Glare-Free Lighting mod but some of the addresses are different on a Lightning:

734-01-02 xxx1 xxxx xx-- Automatic High Beam Control Ramping
734-04-02 x*xx xxxx xx-- Bending Enabled

For the bending please try 1 or 2 and let me know which works.

I have a "1" for 734-04-02 in my Lariat ER. The dynamic bending still works when I have glare free enabled but other are reporting problems with it in this thread: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...tning-forscan-thread.11406/page-4#post-246816

Also, glare free is enabled by default in the Canadian builds--I don't know if this is true for the Canadian 2022 Job 2 ICE trucks.

I don't have a Lightning myself to experiment with but I just wanted to point out that using two of the ICE HCM values for this was wrong because those addresses have moved locations in the Lightning's HCM

I'm happy to try settings if you have anything you want me to check.

I'm especially keen to know if there are any changes in the ACM that would enable the fake EV propulsion sound. The ICE APIM setting adds an activation button in the expected location but the button is non-functional. I haven't located anything in the ACM that works yet.

Try a 1 here in ACM to see if it works: 727-01-01 xxxx xxxx 1x--

Nope, that doesn't work unfortunately. The button stays engaged for a few seconds but reverts back to off.

Try this in addition to the ACM change I gave you:
DSP 783-01-01 Fxxx xx--

No, I'm still getting the same behavior with the propulsion sound button.

I will have to go back to stock and try a new set. My HCM config (Lariat ER), a month after vandy's, is different.

This is what vandy had:

HCM734-01-01xxxxxxx0xx--
HCM734-01-02xxxxx2xxxx--
HCM734-11-01073589

So if I go back to stock and just do the 734-01-02 and 734-04-02 you have above, it should work?

(Interestingly enough, the config I used above actually works to create glare-free...)

2/3 of the HCM glare free values from the ICE HCM were the following:
734-01-01 xxxx xx01 xx-- - Highbeam Ramping enable
734-01-02 x3xx xxxx xx-- - HBHC Adaptive Driving Beam/Dynamic Bending Combined Hardware

So if you're attempting to enable Highbeam Ramping and Adaptive Driving Beam/Dynamic Bending on a Lightning HCM then you should enable them here since they have moved locations in the Lightning HCM:
734-01-02 xxx1 xxxx xx-- Automatic High Beam Control Ramping
734-04-02 x*xx xxxx xx-- Bending Enabled

If you already have it working without any DTCs then I'm not sure how; just pointing out the changed locations for the Lightning's HCM.

My HCM's as-delivered configuration had those already set for 734-01-02 and 734-04-02:
734-01-02 0001 0100 0040
734-04-02 0100 0000 0042

So perhaps that's why it worked after applying the non-HCM stuff, and changing the other addresses didn't have any effect. It might be that on newer trucks you only need the non-HCM configs...

Yeah, I think you're probably spot on with that!

I tested with 734-04-02 x2xx xxxx xx--, that turned bending off. You want a "1" there on my truck.

But, we're still missing something for glare-free beyond those two.

By going back to my factory settings for HCM, I got the default behavior -- all or nothing automatic brights.

Looks like we'll still need something else. I tried 734-01-02 xxxx x2xx xx-- (CAF ADB_GfHB), but that just disabled all auto high-beam functionality and set a DTC/MIL for general checksum failure.

A straight copy of vandy's as-built config works for me for glare-free and no DTC's, but we have differences in 734-12-xx, and I'm not sure what those are:

Code:
             He-has I-have
734-03-02 xxxx xxxx x1-- xxxx xxxx x0--
734-12-01 xxxx xx3x xx-- xxxx xx5x xx--
734-12-02 xxxx xx5x xx-- xxxx xx3x xx--
734-12-03 xxxx xxx4 x5-- xxxx xxx8 x7--
734-12-04 3438 BD 3535 BB
(His truck also has the 734-03-02 "ADBDBL ADB/DBL Combined" vs. my "ADBDBL Disable", it appears we might need that too. ADB = "adaptive driving beam" and DBL = "dynamic bending lights".)

So tonight I'm going to go back to factory and try setting:
734-01-02 xxxx x2xx xx-- (CAF ADB_GfHB)
734-03-02 xxxx xxxx x1-- (ADBDBL ADB/DBL Combined)

and we'll see if that works.

Then I'll need a way to calculate the proper CRC for 734-11-01 so it's not throwing a checksum DTC/MIL.

734-03-02 xxxx xxxx x1-- (ADBDBL ADB/DBL Combined)
Ok - turns out this worked, I had forgotten to update the 734-11-01 CRC value.

So the proper HCM recipe for a brand new truck is:

734-01-02 xxxx x2xx xx-- (CAF ADB_GfHB)
734-03-02 xxxx xxxx x1-- (ADBDBL ADB/DBL Combined)
734-11-01 0735 89

Check to make sure you don't have a checksum DTC, because that will prevent it from working properly.

Now, for whatever reason some of you are getting green headlight icons with an "A", I'm getting white headlight icon with "A".
