Despite your best efforts, you do sometimes run out of energy, whether it's gas or electrical energy.
A friend was hauling up a bunch of stuff from their late mother's home and in their hurry and grief, they ran very low on energy. It happens.
The Lightning can provide up to 30A, 240V (7.2 kW) of power from it's rear plug. This allowed me to give a quick charge to my friend's Kia EV6. We hadn't finished catching up (I haven't seen them in a couple of months) before the car had enough energy to make it home. They only needed about 10 miles of range.
