This looks so good! Thank you for sharing.

Based on the math (+2" level) + (+1.5" Tire size) + (8.9" clearance) = 12.4" clearance. Are you able to confirm the new clearance?
11.75" dead center of the front armor plate.

I'm assuming that's a 64 1/2 / 65 Moooooostang...

purest would say 64 1/2 for mid-year start of the Mustang in March/April of 64...
but Ford calls them a 65 model...

my LIGHTNING will be a mid-year 2002 1/2 model... since I won't receive it til the end of this month...
at least that's what I'm going with

my first was a 66 convertible Wimbeldon white/black interior, 6 cyl inline, automatic in '81

my next was a 66 convertible Wimbeldon white/black interior, 289 4brl 4 on-the-floor in '83

my last was a 65 convertible CandyApple red/black interior, 289 4brl 4 on-the-floor, born on my birthday Dec '64, in '08
Damn you're good. 289 4brl w/ the three speed and Rally Pac. My dad bought it sight unseen in 1964. My recollection is that it was #5047 off the line in Dearborn, and it was an early 64 1/2 from what another enthusiast told me. I think it had something to do with the door lock knobs being different, the way the metal on the hood was folded, and something else. He passed away when I was 6 and I'll always be thankful my mom held on to it throughout the years until I was able to take it over.

I stayed true to the Prairie Bronze when I had it painted and love how it looks. Did a front disc brake conversion & electronic ignition, but the engine really needs to be rebuilt (again - first time was in the late 70's) because no amount of tune-ups and work at various shops throughout the years seems to get it running well enough to feel genuinely comfortable driving it and confident that it won't break down on me.

looks amazing

trimming crash bars also depends on wheel offset, I suspect with stock wheel offset +44 you may not need to
