Hey everyone, first time posting here. Had the truck since March, love it. Learned a lot from this forum so thanks for that.

I just got a retraxPRO XR installed. I know there are lots of opinions on this but I have definitely seen a small improvement in efficiency. I do a lot of highway driving and usually fall somewhere around 2.1 kWh/mi, but I'm getting a little better than that after the install, like 2.3. Just wanted to throw in my two cents on efficiency, and give a shoutout to the Leonard Truck guys in Staunton VA. Fast install, looks perfect.

What do other people with tonneaus do for car washes? I've been using an auto carwash place that uses brushes, but it seems like thats not recommended. Any suggestions?

I have the same cover. After almost ten months and thousands of miles I’d say it makes negligible difference either way. Don’t count on it being advantageous.

Car wash: either at home with a pressure washer, or at a wash place using the hand tools, avoid the tonneau cover, you’ll be fine. (I’d also recommend not using any brushes because especially at the car wash they’re almost always abrasive enough to cause some small paint damage.)
