@Ford Motor Company BlueCruise 1.0 here. Have had the vehicle since July 2022. Why on earth would I expect Iâd get this before you try to charge me a stupid renewal fee?

@Ford Motor Company another update where the app seems to still be missing some important capabilities we've lost including:
Pro Power Onboard
Zone Lighting
Securialert
And some we still sorely need:
pet/camping mode for climate control
Pro Power Onboard - without turning the truck fully on...

I went to one in MD that charged $0.60/kWh, no pricing displayed on the charger or during the process, which was enough of an unpleasant surprise to not want to go there again.
I purchased at Koons in Catonsville, and had a fine experience. That said, after two service appointments there in two different years, to say their service team is incompetent and unable to figure out scheduling would be too kind. Iâm now looking at other options that donât take my vehicle for...
The rare occasions I've had to charge to 100% either on DC or AC, it has taken a while. I'm certainly a little concerned but it hasn't ever done that before.
The other day I stopped at a DCFC (350kW) charger with about a 20% state of charge. As I started charging I set the truck to charge to 100%, and it barreled along to 80% at a pretty great rate before crawling through to 90%. At 90% it jumped to 100% and told me it was fully charged.
I didn't...
I just picked up an Ioniq 5 for the spouse (who refuses to drive the truck because of size and speed). Itâs incredible⌠and the 2 year lease paired with 2 years of free charging is perfect!
Semi-seriously making me consider trading in the truck and getting the Ioniq 5 N considering how much of...
Iâve had that exact thing since December â22, and canât stand the armrest without it. That said, it could really benefit from padding on the side too.
I have two 16 sensor Vue devices, using 24 sensors total. It cost me the cost of the devices. Wiring it up is simple and with a relatively new house with space and sensible wiring inside the panel, itâd be pretty quick.
If youâre not comfortable working inside the panel, I canât imagine a...
âYes, butâŚâ
Depending on the speed youâre going this might not happen at first; theyâre not so simple logically as âfoot removed from pedalâ â> turn on brake lights. Theyâre also dependent on accelerometer input to determine whether to light them up or not. If you take your foot off the pedal...
I havenât set up two together but Emporia all day. Their available data - especially (but not exclusively) hooked up to their Vue system and Home Assistant - is great. I have data on more power usage around my house than I could ever want.
They have time of use that can be configured to vary...
Revising my previous statement: I do have things to add.
Give me some way to authorize against the API that doesnât potentially lock me out of the ability to ever use the app again. The possibilities with open API access are exciting but the weaponized dumbassery of punishing end users for...
I think weâre fine without the sexist condescension adding to the already palpable atmosphere of the thread.
Hereâs the crux of the issue. Either we want wider EV adoption, or we want it to remain a small exclusive club for those with the privilege to afford it. Inflicting âfinancial painâ...
Have you tried this? Because⌠oooooooooh
Your post here made me realize this annoys me more than almost anything else because itâs not consistent. Always or never, preferably something that can be set per preference but Iâd certainly settle for always. I still go for the button each time. Itâs...
After a year and a half and 12k miles, I had my first ever wait to fast charge.
Six EA stalls, all taken up. App had showed only one in use, and that was correct. One other had completed charging, two EVs parked there (with no occupants) werenât plugged in, and two werenât electric vehicles.
A...
