Unless you are skilled and knowledgeable on coatings I would leave that to the pros.

Wow that looks great man! Good job. I took mine to the dealer to get the wheels painted and all he said was we will not be able to do it because it might peel off in the long run and especially in the heat!

That’s probably painting vs powder coat. They will strip them and then powder coat them. You can take it to most places that powder coat.
