Power Running Boards A Delayed Part?

Hi all,

I just placed my order for an extended range lariat yesterday and the sales associate mentioned that the power running boards I had selected were a delayed part. He didn't really have any other information for me on what that meant, but I decided it's something I was willing to wait for. Has anyone else been told something similar? I'm hoping if there is a delay it won't be anything crazy.

Not sure how you even ordered it since the configurator has blocked picking the powered boards since late March....

It let me order it just fine, but then I had my dealer remove them when he accepted the order.

it lets you select it but says "DEACTIVATED" so really not sure WTH that really means ??

To be honest.... I thought the "Deactivated" thing was for the image haha. Man I hope this doesn't complicate my order. It was accepted by Ford though.

Definitely not available for '22 model - and WILL kick you to '23 - and likely out of the running for a tax credit.

The powered running boards are "late availability" with no ETA. Says this in the order guide too. I personally want them myself, but haven't been blessed with an order invite so I guess it doesn't matter. If given the chance to order, I'd just take the standard running boards so as not to hold up the truck and then add the powered ones later.
