Famous Cali Supreme Court case (I vaguely recall) where the plaintiff was fined for displaying 12V Xmas lights inside her car that were visible from outside the car.

Defense argued “Oh really? Have you seen the colors of lights from accessories that are visible from outside the vehicle”. She won her case.

Update: I switched to white LEDs because blue (and red) are illegal in NC.

I get it, but it's a shame. Those blue LEDs looked sharp AF.

Update for anybody struggling with fuse tap: use fuse 190. It’s a 5a fuse that is a spare/unused. Powers on and off with truck power.

Be aware there is a fair bit of custom and careful cutting/dremeling/gluing to make this work, this is NOT a plug and play install. There are threads here on how to do it.

Where did get the Ford letters? Can you send pictures of the inside of the grill with the camera/bracket installed? It looks awesome!

Looks amazing. I just did mine but used blue lights instead of amber. I was on the fence about installing the FORD letters but went ahead. I like the way it looks!

Looks very good. I found the grille on eBay. Where did you find the replacement white LED’s? Is it difficult to replace the LED’s? Thanks.
