Rear light bar condensation

Well I just came back from Hilltop ford, they were supposed to repair the condensation problem in my rear light bar. They did this before under a warranty recall. This time they told me I could pay $1334.06 to have it replaced. As a knowledgeable contractor who knows how to release water, I drilled four holes along the bottom edge of the light bar and magically a quarter cup of water poured out. Problem solved for now. How long will it take for the engineers at ford to figure out the solution. This is caused by poor design and ford should own up to the problem and fix it once and for all. This may be my last of 6 F150s.

That's not common. Anything past 3 is installer issues.

When will @Ford Motor Company fix the issue once and for all? Since this was a safety recall, then Ford should guarantee replacements even for vehicles out of warranty.

That's not common. Anything past 3 is installer issues.

Hopefully enough racket on the forums and to the @Ford Motor Company ev team will give it another look. That thing ain’t cheap.

So. Cal as well, noticed my 2nd light bar had the white reverse lights flickering. Looking closer, I see moisture in many spots.

I'm assuming it would be covered on the extended warranty with the Interior/Exterior Lighting coverage?
