I did some searching and there seems to be a lot of discussion about heating and cooling of the rear seats. My question is reclining.... I know the rear seats fold up, but is there any recline on the back seats? I understand they are up against the back wall, but wasnt sure if there was any slide forward to imitate a limited amount of recline in the back seat.

Rear seat recline is a great idea, and there certainly is enough space for the seat to move forward to permit the recline. However, the under-seat storage situation would get more complicated for sure.
Certainly possible, but probably no where on the re-design priority list....regrettably.

Certainly not a priority. My daughter had asked me about it as i just recently placed my order and it occured to me that I never sit in the back of my own vehicle so I had no idea if it did anything other than fold up.

Ford spoke about new trims coming out. Maybe they'll include a trim with rear seating that can recline?

I have seen an extender for the rear seat you can buy and install DIY.

I think I found it with a google search like "recline F150 rear seat".

It bolts in and moves the bottom of the back and seat about 2 inches forward. That should do it.

My concern would be how the lap belt position is affected.

Modifying the seat mounting brackets with a kit like that is a really bad idea. These are designed for high speed impacts to keep you safe. Made by "JHO". Stay away.

Well of course, short for "Just Hold On!"
