Your understanding is correct though unless you are regularly hauling heavy loads or approaching max tongue weight I doubt it will be an issue - it hasn’t been for me. 2” doesn’t sound like a lot but when you factor in that that’s still roughly two thirds of what was there before the drop, it ain’t bad.Can you explain more about this measurement? Does this mean you will hit the bump stops sooner, either under load, or with potholes, etc?
I like the look and idea of easier access for sure, but 2" doesn't seem like much travel at all. Or am I understanding wrong?
I’m highly in tune with suspension dynamics because of my profession as a senior technician in one of the busiest McLaren dealerships in the world, and I have zero qualms with having done this drop. I only wish I could go a bit lower all around without shelling out huge coin for the full susp kits.
