Posting this in case Ford's Quality Control people would be interested to know, and/or in case someone else has a similar problem.
New 2024 XLT whose keypad didn't respond at all: No lights, no action, nothing. Keypad enabled in the menus. After watching a great video by Kurt'sRPMGarage on the Tube, I guessed that a connector was probably not connected. An endoscope revealed, right inside the door where Kurt's video suggested it would be:
Loosening the door trim, reaching in, and connecting the connector by feel has led to what seems to be a complete fix. Since I haven't found any other flaws yet, I'm still happy with the truck and its quality of construction. So far.
