The 14-way and 18-way seats really don't suit tall drivers

I was in love with the Macan 4S (and considering a turbo). I was 100% ready to order.

However.
I eventually didn't get the car because the seats (both 14 and 18 way) don't work for me...
I'm very tall and have broad shoulders, both seats push in too narrow in my upper back causing muscle tension and pain.

I seem to have the same issue with the 911's and Taycans. And I sat in the 14-way of my cousin's Panamera and it seems to be the same...

My only hope is the Cayenne at this point? I assume a bigger SUV has broader seats?

Alternatively I'll testdrive the SQ6 this weekend. Build quality is nowhere near the Macan ofc.. Filthy black piano plastic.. :(

If I can get some condolences, that'd be great 😭

I’m 1m 90 and 100kg - no problem with either in 911 Taycan or Macan.

I’m 1.89 metres and 85 Kg and my front seat (18 way) is fine AND I’m comfortable in the rear seats - how tall are you?

I'm 1m97.
The curvature of the shoulder holsters were really too narrow.

My shoulders peak out above them, but the curvature is on the inside of my back so it pushes my shoulders forward, which causes upper back pain after let's say 20 minutes.

I testdrove the 14-way for 2 days. Maybe I should try the 18-way again but it should be worse in theory given that they're even "more sporty" and def not made for larger drivers

Sport seats also don't have and adjustable head restraint - 14-way does and logically is a better bet for most

I'm average height with broader shoulders and hips. The 14 way bottoms are narrow enough that I start getting a hip pointer within an hour or two. The back doesn't bother me. I have no issues with a flatter seat like my pickup or office chair. But some car seats are a pain in the rear. I'm starting to poke around for a solution as, based on previous history, this is not something my hip will adapt to. Perhaps the seat will break in.

The other minor annoyance is the Black/Chalk leather package seat is "slippery" and a bit hard. I often find myself sliding forward. I haven't found an adjustment that minimizes that yet. Perhaps they will be better when broken in.
