I have a Fastop Travel package (tonneau and soft cab height topper combo) on order and I am looking for any possible connections for a third center brake light for when I am using the topper option. Other threads are showing splicing into wiring harnesses or connecting to a stubbed wire that is in the engine bay of the ICE F150.
When I was looking around under my 2024 Lightning Pro, I have this 2-pin plug that seems to be capped off between the rear bumper and spare tire near where all of the other trailer connection wiring is. Anyone have experience using this connection? I am hoping someone else has already done the difficult work of getting a test light in there and having a family "helper" step on the brake pedal to see what this does. Also, does anyone know what type of connector this is so that if it does work for a center brake light, I know what type of plug to purchase?
TIA
