Has anyone from U.S. has done a DCFC at supercharger in Canada with either plug and charge or Tesla App? I have a trip coming up and could use tips for planning. The Canadian chargers show on my Tesla app. Do I need Canadian apps or accounts to use superchargers there?

I posted last week that I did. https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...trip-mi-to-vt-with-tesla-supercharging.19045/

London, Ontario and Cobourg, ON. Charged at each location twice. Works fine. Tesla, unlike EA, has no country-specific app, and the $12.99 membership discount works at both.

Make sure the credit card you have on file doesn't charge an exchange rate if you care.

Plan with ABRP.

I used the Tesla app except when I activated the wrong charger (they were numbered 1B, 1A, 1C, 1D) by mistake and used Plug and Charge. Both work fine.

It looks like it is demand based in a lot of areas. Around 50 cents is typical for Toronto area. During busy times it can go as high as 70C - 80C.

One thing I am curious about is that if I see the rates in American dollars and you see them in Canadian when we use the app.

No, they are in Canadian currency in Canada. I charged there a month ago.
