Hi everyone, this is my first post here, but I have been grateful for this forum as I was researching the purchase of a 2021 Lariat Powerboost.
I just wanted to let everyone know my experience with the drop-in bed liner from Rugged Liner, so that y'all can be saved from wasting money on it. I had originally ordered the Ford OEM liner from my dealer but they instead chose to order one from Rugged Liner instead, stating the the Ford OEM part was not currently available anywhere. They did this without telling me and I only noticed upon going to pick it up. Since it ended up being about $100 dollars less than the OEM and the dealer was telling me they couldn't get an OEM for a while, I decided to try it. Upon install various quality issues were revealed. The bulk head does not fit snugly to the truck at all, the sides protrude far from the rail cap in some areas, and some areas of the side walls were cut too short so that they did not completely cover the bed and but up against the rail cap. I apologize for not having any exemplary pictures, but in anger and haste I removed the bed liner before taking any. Overall the quality and fit of the liner was poor in comparison to the Ford OEM one I have seen in other trucks. Anyways, I ended up just going with a spray-in, but just wanted to put this out there so others can avoid this brand of liner.
