This has happened several times to me over the past year and I don't think I fully understand the estimated range displayed on dash and what changes it.

Let me explain:
The Range display on Left dash says 97 miles and the Charge status is at 85%. (SR truck, and I typically get 2.4M/KW). Just going out for short ride, the range is not dropping 1kw per mile and still shows 2.4m/kw. The estimate is totally off on any type of accuracy.

I thought at one time, my pro power came on that effected the estimated mileage. Another time I thought the navigations estimated how far it was to the next charger.
Even today: No pro Power, and no destination in Navigation.

So what is on telling it to estimate so poorly?

Did you tow recently, and then not make sure your trailer was showing as no longer connected?

Go into your towing settings and select "no active trailer". Sometimes it does it automatically. Sometimes it does not.
