2023 Ford F-150 Lariat Lightning ER Ford Pass Software at 10.1.1
When using adaptive cruise control or Blue Cruise, as I am passing a Tractor Trailer, Truck or SUV, Lightning will brake check hard and flash red "Adaptive Cruise Control" at instrument panel. Does not seem to happen with smaller vehicles. First noted this around Thanksgiving 2024, was never an issue for the year of driving before that date. This was about 2 weeks after an OTA update. Does it about 80% of the time, more so with Tractor Trailer's than the others.
Truck was recently in for CSP 24B56, which addresses an issue where the front park aid feature may become inoperative, mentioned this other issue and whether they might be related.
Still exhibits this problem after the update. Took it into dealer. They did not see the problem. Kind of bad mouthed Ford ACC as being touchy/aggressive. To be clear I am NOT talking about a car moving in front of you, and the ACC braking to maintain a safe distance. I'm talking about being parallel to a vehicle and a sudden aggressive braking, usually around midway or almost even with the other vehicle.
