Could that DCFC interlock be used as a physical lock for J1772 and CCS1? I would think that they unlock button / stop DC charging could have logic in place to only work if the vehicle is unlocked or PAAK is present.
The mechanics of the process is present, they just need the software to make it happen for level 1/2 charging and a Sync or Fordpass App button or passive bluetooth unlock routine.

I had a first experience of having the J1772 cable unplugged from my truck at work today. No security, but I knew that. Fortunately for me the truck was just 1% shy of the target charge, so no big deal and I returned about 15 minutes later (after lunch as planned). This was at one of the public chargers at my work and I have a camera pointed out the window so I can see when there is a space free. Went back on the video to watch the lady first apparently complain to the parking enforcement who just happened to be there at the time (I was not overparked - 4 hour limit), so they did not do anything to me, but it looked like since they would not do anything, she unplugged my truck to plug in her car.

A little explanation on one part. There are 4 J1772 spaces that are #1 - #4. Each pair is on one charging pedestal. The cable on #3 is damaged, resulting in some cars it apparently works and some it does not (including my Lightning that reports a "charger fault"). It has been somewhat common to find someone parked in the #3 space, but drag a cable over from another location. In this case, space #1 was open, but the #1 cable was plugged into a car in space #3. I was in space #2 using cable #2. Lady pulled into space #1 and appeared pissed to find that the cable had been dragged over to space #3. I'm really not sure why my truck was the target of her anger instead of the car in space #3 that was using cable #1. Now what I really hope is that she parks there long enough that she is still there when parking enforcement returns, and she gets cited. I will be watching. OK, maybe I'm a little petty...
