We use this one for work also, Mulch was 7500 Lbs Trailer ia 1750 Lbs Handled like a dream.

No I just use a Weight Safe hitch so I can monitor the tung weight when loading. That was around 400 Lbs.

Gotcha. Yeah that tongue weight is well within capacity. I have the onboard scales for that, but just FYI (since I recently learned this myself) these trucks (I have Max Tow and assume you do as well if pulling near 10k) are actually only rated for 5,000lbs w/o weight distribution and 10,000 with. Still shopping around for that setup, which is why I asked!

Nice rig, I sold my big black diesel (2020 RAM LIMITED w Cummins) right at the peak crazy pricing. Bought it new when discounts were still a thing, then got more than I paid for it after almost 2 years. Love the Lightning, and it's costing me like 1/18th of my gas or diesel rigs due to super cheap power. It'll do the 10k and then some (see the YT vid of one pulling a train), just not within spec without that distribution. YMMV!
