On my 2 week old 2023 Lightning, when I try to access the truck in Ford Pass it occasionally gives me a message to drive the vehicle to reconnect Ford Pass and exit battery saver mode.

Just now I got the message. The truck was driven for about an hour, just 5 hours ago and parked in our driveway.

My other Ford ICE trucks go into power saver after at least 10 days not being driven.

Is this normal for the Lightning?
Is the 12 volt battery not holding voltage?
Is there phantom drain causing this?

This truck was built in April and sat on the lot for at least 6 months before I bought it. I’m concerned after sitting so long the small 12 volt battery isn’t holding a charge.

The LVB is definitely a weak link. It does need to be kept charged for a lot of things to happen going forward. A lot of us have put trickle chargers to work to keep it up during downtime.

Search for OTA updates or LVB and you should find a lot of information there.
