“My EV driving” log stopped working in the Ford Pass app, in the “Charging” section where the charging log is kept.

Any trick to getting it working again ?

It has worked fine since delivery 2 months ago, but recently it’s recording maybe 1 out of 10 trips, which isn’t mission critical stuff, but kind of annoying as I try to learn the range of the truck and impacts that different sorts of driving has on it.

I miss having all the stats. kind of addicting to follow and it’s useful info.

i know…..it could be more useful,

but it’s better than nothing

and just strange to lose the connection between the truck and the app…

From working 100% fine to maybe 10% capture of data now

My app is not tracking every trip. Seems to miss one every three days or so.

Mine works most of the time, but recently it didn't log one leg of my trip. It was 195 miles on one charge, but it logged the other 2 legs of that trip of 215 and 95 miles.

I have same issue…also, the status (e.g. miles driven, charge status) of my truck are frozen in time (two days ago) and none of my connected services are functioning (so much for using my free fast charging credits).

My call to Ford CS led to a diagnosis that my truck’s modem is not communicating with Ford’s servers. Ford directed me to my dealer for further diagnostics/repair……I now have an appointment with my dealer in 2 weeks (1st available😡) to have the Sevice Department fix the issue……

Another problem they need to fix with the logs is when you scroll far down and click on a log, then hit back, it takes you back to the top of the list again and to have to scroll all the way back down again. Ugh

I had the same thing happen, and the Ford rep spent about a half hour on the phone trying different things, such as deleting the Ford Pass app from my phone entirely, then downloading a fresh new app;
she also had me go into several settings in the truck to make sure everything was selected properly for the connection between truck and app.

Nothing seemed to work, so she suggested booking an appointment at the dealership for the same diagnosis you got.

I never got around to it…..

and next thing you know the connection began working again.

Not that it’s recording every drive in my log, or even every charge in the charge log; that’s still very sporadic and unpredictable.
But the app at least does now function with knowing where my vehicle is, and it’s state of charge,etc.

Definitely seems that Ford has a lot of bugs to work out with the software.

Nothing mission critical, but nuisances nonetheless.

Maybe Tesla had the same issues in year 1 ?

Yep, I went thru the exact same routine. It will be interesting to see what happens, if anything, over the next two weeks while I’m waiting for my appointment date. Hopefully, it will resolve itself and safe everyone the trouble……🤞🤞

I've tried toggling the "connected vehicle" settings in the truck off and then back on again with no success.
