I couldn't find if anyone has done this yet, so I hooked up a Klein USB meter to each of my 2023 Lariat USB plugs and here are the results:

Plugs right below the main touchscreen:
USB-C: 15W (5V/3A)
USB-A: 7.5W (5V/1.5A)

Plugs within the center console:
USB-C: 15W (5V/3A)
USB-A: 5W (5V/1A)

Plugs for rear passengers:
USB-C: 15W (5V/3A)
USB-A: 5W (5V/1A)

Plugs in frunk:
USB-C: 15W (5V/3A)
USB-A: 5W (5V/1A)

So the USB-C is definitely faster, but unfortunately the plugs do not support power delivery with higher voltages. I used a newer iPad at a low SoC for testing, and verified that it is capable of requesting over 20 watts @ 15V to ensure I was maxing out the output. I didn't have the capability to test whether the outlets share any power, so I'm not sure if you could pull a full 4A with two devices plugged in.

Well done. I was thinking of testing them with my gear, but it's not as comprehensive as the Klein. Mine can only measure how much a device pulls, not the max the outlet can push.

It is another one of these items I would have expected different from a luxury car... USB-A should have at least been able to do 2.1 A. I also expected more from a USB-C.

Good thing you have a 120V outlet next to each one of those USB's if you actually need some decent power!

Thanks for posting this though, good to know.
